Yeah that's once you've installed the described mod and connected the cables.

I agree with this. A new 3ds-dev that isn't managed by a god-complexed super genius that ban noobs and (gulp) signature patched CFW related stuff, where everyone is welcome.

#PastaCFW on any server (efnet, etc...)
The problem is to keep your channel (you need bots for that and a dedicated server to place the bot on)
You need to configure the bot to auto op the people you want and protect your channel from take overs etc...

If you went to an IRC network with services (Freenode, Rizon come to mind), services would deal with keeping the channel/channel ops and nick registration. When dealing with EFnet and IRCnet, remember that there's no way of hostname spoofing, so you're putting your IP address out there for all to see and DDoS.

Avoid gbatemp IRC, forced autojoin is absolutely disgusting.

Anyway I strongly recommend IRC because it's simple, lightweight and there are tons of clients out there with many features.

rxTools only has rop chain for 4.x systems so for now you won't be able to boot rxTools from 9.x sysnand with MSET. But I'm sure it might add that in the future though. For the o3DS there isn't anything using MSET on 9.x yet and only Gateway has made use of it on n3DS.

How about making an entire Developers IRC Network? It's easy to do it... I have my own testing network and it takes me about 15 mins to have all configured and working (IRCd, Services, Eggdrops, etc...)

But i think i got one setup as it should be.
I'm not sure what you guys need to connect, but here is some info:
Ip: rxtools.net
port: 6667
1 channel that is active at this moment: rxTools.net

I'm not sure if it depends on which IRC client you use
But after i connected to rxtools.net:6667, i had to type /join rxTools.net in order to enter the chat room

Please don't be an idiot and learn how to properly set up an IRC network before doing anything.

Give him some time man....learning the in's and out's of setting up an irc server from scratch does have a little bit of a learning curve (especially if you're not very familiar with it).
