You'll need HB on your unhacked N3DS. Currently there is no HB payload for O3DS on 11.4. You can used JKSM to export your Save/ExtData for the games. You will have to initialize the Save/ExtData by opening the game on your hacked 3DS so you can import the saves using JKSM. Install the CIA version on the hacked 3DS if you haven't already.

Fantasy Life stores its save data in extra data. Export extra data instead of save data.

I read the OP and found out the mhgsv.3dsx wasnt working because eu system playing us cartridge, thank you

but I was wanting this to backup the original files decrypted to be able to eventually use the dlc of this on citra (it saves it as extdata) but this saves it as a "system" file, any way to extract?

Try removing secure value. I have no experience with Citra, so I'm guessing.

Can I open an old save copied directly from SD card with JKSM and inject it to the game again? I did formated long time ago and still have the copy. Game is Etrian Odissey IV.

If you mean you formatted the system after copying the file off the SD instead of using JKSM? If your answer is yes, then no. Unless you have the XORPad for that previous NAND.

Then your save is worthless. Almost no one does. It's basically only way right now. You can wait for SigHax. That might be able to decrypt your save. I'm not sure. It might still require some keys from your old NAND to do that. You can go ask in the SigHax thread.

Is it possible to backup digital games saves with the 3dsx version? I get prompted to choose a target title and I only see the game in the cart slot.

Probably. You should just do the Guide. Then you can use the CIA version which works a lot better than 3dsx version. Also update you JKSM. Last one is from February 10, 2017.

I have 2 3DS with CFW, but I wanted to keep this one clean so to speak. Just want to backup my digital game saves.

Regarding the update thing, what's the proper way of updating a CIA? Thanks.

Download new cia, then install, it will override the old version

hi guys i have cfw on 11.3 and jksm, i have save files from the sky3ds plus card i used to play the games with, can i somehow transfer my save file for xenoblade on the cia file i installed on 3ds,i dont have the sky3ds card with me anymore just the sav files i have
