its look "ok", but it looks like Monochrome and the actual GUI is darker and harder to see, it would look a lot better if you change actual color values.
EDIT: Imo, make the white background brighter, and make text pure white #fff.

I agree with this. I like the theme, and it definitely shows potential, but the text is a bit difficult to read. Make the whites whiter and the greys closer to black to increase the contrast and readability.

Also it's ridiculous for this to have its own build when FBI natively supports theming.

Just so you're aware, you can theme FBI by putting alternate versions of the RomFS files in "sdmc:/fbi/theme/". You don't need to distribute your own build of FBI.
