am planning on buying an old 3ds with a lower firmware, since my bugdet is tight I can't afford the xl ones. My question is , compared to a psp screen (since I own one), is the size of the 3ds not that far-off from the psp?

3ds is small ..

PSP has a 4.3 inch. original 3DS, the screen measures at 3.53 in (90 mm), while on the 3DS XL it measures at 4.88 in (124 mm).

5:3 means 5" long and 3" wide?

90mm is the diagonal length?
