Hardware Ram upgrade options for a Sony Vaio VPCEA12EN Laptop

Hi guys.
A relative of mine uses a Sony Vaio notebook with the following specs:

The user of the laptop isn't techy and only uses for Web Browsing,movies and occasional casual gaming (Angry Birds) and complains that the laptop is quite slow.
I'm currently wiping the Hard Drive and doing a fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate X64, and I've noticed that the Laptop only has 2 GB of Ram.I would like to know the most suitable RAM upgrade for this laptop.
I think upgrading it to 8 GB (2x4GB) would be just fine right?

Tl;DR
Which RAM should I buy? I was looking at Consair Vengeance DDR3 4GB (1x4)

Would two of these 4GB sticks suffice? Or are there better alternatives? Also is it compatible with my laptop? I live in India, and I'd prefer purchasing it from the above site only as its quite reliable. Cheers!

The fresh install (assuming you really mean fresh and not the recovery partition/discs) is going to help a lot, but a little more RAM won't hurt... though 8GB will be wasted money. Just go to one 4GB, it'll be cheaper and still a good improvement.

Since it already has a 2GB SODIMM, you can try and get another 2GB one for the other slot. Try and get a matched pair.
