Gaming Question regarding trophies

I have a new hdd that I will be replacing in my PS3 as my old one is dying and I have my stuff backed up, however I know that trophies will be synced with the psn server but my question is how do I get my trophies back that I had previously AFTER I sync again to psn with my new hdd and go offline? Because I did this before and I kept unlocking trophies that I had before even on my old one.

You will not be able to do this unless you backup the ps3 and restore it. If you try to put the Old HDD into the New Ps3, it will try and format it.
