Hacking [QUESTION] Once an SD Card is formatted, the emuNAND is gone forever correct?

It depends on the definition of "format" and "SD card", emunand is outside the standard FAT partition and a traditional create-filesystem formatter won't touch it, a repartitioning (like SDFormatter with "format size adjustment" )will, but the still readable data may confuse tools

Back then, I made NAND backups but I never followed a guide from the 3ds.guide page. I just followed instructions and steps, members in the hacking community made up.
You should update to boot9strap by following 3ds.guide
