Misc Question About using Save-States Over Wifi

Hey I've always wondered this, but what would happen if you had a Legit copy of say Pokemon Black, and a flashcard running Pokemon Black, and you go online to battle, and you made a move you didn't like, (or something like that) and loaded one of your save states that you saved earlier in battle?

How would the legit Pokemon Black game react?

Would it freeze?

Would it cancel the battle?

If you know or have tried something like this, I'd like to know what would happen. :D
