Gaming psp charge help

I don't know why but my psp stopped charging,i don't know if it's the battery or the charger any help?

You need to give more information really, can you still play it just using the ac cable? when you try to charge the battery does the power light change from green to orange or does it do nothing?

I don't have an ac cable but if i put the charger in the psp the light doesn't change from no light to orange.
