I was asking the OP why he didn't use hardware acceleration of the Tegra X1 - doesn't matter what Switch can output, internally it can process any video easily.

Hi, this one should play fine! Try this to launch the HBL then pPlay: https://github.com/yellows8/hblauncher_loader (then set a high buffer option)

Isn't that a 3ds homebrew? I don't think that'll be of much help . And I've already got a homebrew launcher NSP but doesn't seem to be working with it. That's what I tested on after all. I tried the highest buffer as well.

That would be the one I'm using although I believe I got the download from the GBAtemp thread, maybe the github has a more updated version? I dunno. And yeah sure I can indeed.

I've noticed that small MP4 videos often stall for a second or two and then jump to catch up. I'm on SX OS 2.5 Beta with exFAT SD, and it was a 720p MP4 encoded with h.264 video and mp3 audio streams.

tried 3 vids, 2 720p h264 anime, 1 1080p from the online sources, crashes every time after 1/2sec at the star of the vid. (even with highest buffer option) (OC is on)

2 out of 4 videos I tested crash the system hard. Not exactly what I'd call stable.

Works well for most you need to use the hbl forwarder or use the installable hbl nsp

USB and network installation are very convenient if you're using Fat32, and I'd highly recommend those methods for it.
