Wish there was some online codes for smash

I don't believe it's possible to have online codes for smash 4. Since online just transmits button presses, nothing else happening on your wii (that I'm aware of) is being sent online. So if you give yourself infinite health (which I do have a code for) and you go online, you'll still have infinite health, but you'll get disconnected because on their screen you don't have infinite health. so you desync and it stops the match.

And since I play smash competitively, it makes me mad when people say certain stages cause more lag online than others.. When the stage graphics are all happening locally..

I found a very messy and glitchy way to get rid of them though. It essentially shrinks every icon entirely out of existence. It makes the pause screens unusable entirely. But I could make it button activated so you can "erase" the icons and bring them back at will.

Better than nothing. What button combos would be best, though...?

Hmm, a combo that would not be triggered accidentally, but still be easy to access...

How about Left Trigger + D-Pad Down to shrink/hide HUD elements, and either Start or Select to revert them to normal?

If both Start and Select cause the HUD elements to revert, you'd never see the messed-up Inventory/Map screens, since you have to press one of those two buttons to access them.

Codes like Stage modify, music modify, character modify is possible online. It was done in brawl. You shouldn't take a game that serious. well i mean certain stages as well as items are not allowed to try and make the game about skill instead of a matter of who gets lucky and gets the Smash Ball for instance. and some stages have hazards on them that will kill you and cause you to lose regardless of your opponent and how good they are.

I disagree, if you can't avoid a final smash you have no skills and those tourney stages aren't even fair, it's just one nerd who decided stages should all be a certain size. And you all follow that rule when really what if norfair stage was the legit pro stage you all were suppose to fight on.

you'd think this would be a relatively simple hack to make but nope..

i spent a while trying to find pointers using Bully's pointer searcher, and turning up blank trying to find a pointer that always pointed to your weapons Elemental Charge.

and i eventually did find one, but i had to find it by hand pretty much.. and it turns out it was a 3 stage Pointer. which isss:

[[[0x45188784] + 0x40] + 0x970] + 0xC

and since its 3 stages, i had to do assembly for it.


and whilst making this pointer i found another interesting pointer also by hand, and thats this pointer:

[[0x45188784] + 0x40] + 0x10

This points to your current weapon that youre holding in your hand by name. so if its a Great thunderblade itd be i think: Weapon_Lsword_035
if i remember..

i havent messed around too much with this address much, but if it makes it possible to swap the weapon in your hand with another, i could potentially make a "Copy and Paste Weapons" code, basically you could hold a weapon and then press a button and it would "Copy that weapon to your imaginary Clipboard" and then when you switch over to another weapon, you could press another button combination to "Paste" whatever is in your "clipboard" over top of your current weapon.. and thus weapon duplicating! lol

soooooooo to use this code you need to first equip a bow and hold it in your hands. (or you can just hold ZR if you dont have a Bow Equipped, as long as your equipment menu is displaying your Bow Selection and your Arrow Selection) and once youve done this, press DpadLeft to bring up your arrow selection. and thats it. The code does the rest.

some important notes: This code is slightlyy risky to use, and somewhat complicated-ish. There is a risk that the location your arrows are in will randomly change while youre playing and the code will instead write to the value of a different inventory item. Best case scenario is that itll write 999 to the durability of some of your weapons instead, which isnt a problem, the middle case scenario is it writes 999 to the value of some of your food.. which again, oh well. but the worst case scenario is that it overwrites one of your clothing items with 999 or even one of your key items, causing the item to be corrupt. So i guess save often, whenever you bring up the arrow selection menu it automatically updates the addresses to the latest Arrow Addresses. and if somehow your clothing items or key items get overwritten you can always just use PandaOnSmack's trainer to change the item back. or recreate the item.

and as a side note to anyone thats interested.
4407087E8 contains a display value for your current arrows.. which is useless as far as making infinite arrows sadly.

however 44070850 contains pointers to the weapon selection you bring up. in other words if you load up your weapon selection, 44070850 and every 4 bytes after will contain a pointer to each weapon or Bow that you own, in the order that they appear in your inventory. i dont see a use for it other than what i did to get infinite arrows out of it.. but yeah.

Also it sometimes stops processing changes when you get to 10-11 iterations(in my experience, 15 is the most iterations it will do). It's really frustrating when you've spent an hour doing memory dumps and you have to start all over.

a lot of the times when it says 99%, its actually already finished and waiting for your next action. you can tell because the search button becomes active again.. as for when it stops updating the search results, i dont know why that happens but it has happened to me a few times before, and there have been times its worked fine even with large dump sizes.
