Hi!
I recently bought a used EZ Flash Omega with thousands of GBA games on it. They all work well.
I want to play Pokemon Yellow, so I downloaded a free ROM and put it on my SD card. I'm not sure how to put a rom on the SD card with the addons for the save states, so I can only clean boot the game every time.
I can play the game fine on my GBA through the EZ Flash Omega, but I am unable to save the game after I turn my GBA off and turn it on again. If I do a soft reset (select+start+A+B), I am able to pick up the game from my last save.
I downloaded the Visual Boy Advance Emulator and I can both play and save my progress on Pokemon Yellow on the computer (through the load/save state).
How can I make my Pokemon game saveable on my handheld GBA? I've read a little bit about patching--do I need to patch the rom that I have so I can have the addon for the save states?
Thanks.
