Erm, rave, you did notice that some weeks ago there was a backuptool released that does work with HG/SS and evidently with B/W too? Just thought I shoudl add that little notion so some might see there is another way to backup/restore saves without rendering you unable to maybe resell the game in the future ;-)

see, i have a DSi and an ARDSi. No other tools will do for me. I can't use anything else.

before, there was NO WAY of backing up my data. I would have to buy another tool, instead of using what i already have.

this, worked perfectly. i got no slot 2, so WiFi is outa the question, card swaps don't work either. What matters though is, that i needed no futher sofware mods after doing the hardware hack. it rendered my card fully compatible. Now, i play the Black Rom on my DS2, it makes editing the savefile a lot easier. once i am done, i can load it back onto my retail card

Yeah, this method worked for my Pokémon Black cartridge. However, I didn't even have to solder the wire on, I just pushed it into the holes and bent it back and the Action Replay still recognized it. Thank you for this info!
