Reading is just staring at marked slices of wood for hours while hallucinating vividly.
I had a similar experience with “Leave The World Behind”. Then the book just ended. We were like “WTF!! What happens next?”

I have a few books I'm trying to work on. Right now it's Screenplay by Syd Field, In Memoriam by Alice Winn, and Last Night at the Telegraph Club by Malinda Lo.
Last book I read was Blood Meridian, which I did enjoy a lot.

Just play it on the emulation at home and portable use the normal save, I wouldn't risk anything if online is important to you+1
