Huh? I am sure that a lot of people will want to level up Feebas up to 40 lvl lol. Feebas/ Milotic are the counterpart of Magikarp / Gyarados, so in my opinion Feebas should also evolve at 20 lvl.

Yeah, I was thinking about that, but I found it quite low. Now I'm thinking about it again and, Feebas at level 36 for example, yeah, that would be very hard to train.

And why don't you replace Togepi and Togetic ? It's like in HG/SS, the Togepi egg is given by Cynthia and they are almost not used in the game.

Besides, I already 'used' Togepi in the game, as some Trainers do have Togepi / Togetic / Togekiss in their teams. It's a nice idea though. I cán edit the Egg Pokémon Cynthia gives you, so that won't give any problems.

In my hack, I replaced Togepi and Togetic but haven't changed Togekiss so he can still be obtained.
And yeah you should certainly give credits for these sprites.

Should the newly announced 5th Generation Pokémon Zorua and Zoroark be implemented?

Of course, it would be nice to see him in your hack and make a story around him and Darkrai.
And replacing Manaphy isn't a bad idea cause, even if it's a legendary,a hack is not meant to be your main playthrough anyway.

That is true. I think I'll add Zorua and Zoroark, but I really first want an Icon Editor before I add them. I want to be sure to be able to edit their Icons.

The next version is almost ready to be released. It will take one more day, because some people pointed me at some more bugs and I'd like to fix them. Tomorrow I want to play the game from Oreburgh City to Solaceon Town and take out all the bugs that appear. I'll upload some new, nice screenshots then, too!

I changed a lot more and I must say, this game is impressing me! The storyline might look a bit weak in the beginning, but it really impresses me now. I can tell you that the EX-Champion Cynthia plays a big role in this game, as well as Looker.

To tell you more about the plot; in Veilstone, after battling some policemen, you get the mission to go to a special island...

VERSION 2.0 RELEASE

I tried a new patching way this time, it's called tsukuyomi (UPS). I found it on my computer, so hey, why not try it?
If it doesn't work at all, please say it as soon as possible! I added the GUI (original) patching method as well.

What's new in Version 2.0?

• You can play till the 5th Gym and even do the Storyline (with the originally running Galactic Grunt)!
• All New Evolution Methods have been added!
• A lot of bugs have been edited!
• Please check the Bug List in the 1st post. Some Bugs can't be edited yet (for example, the 2nd Gym is still quite messy).
• Some Events have been edited, for example the Valley Windworks Event.
• A lot of text as been improved / edited.

Not sure which to pick? Just try the first (GUI) one.

Answer: No! You have to do the following. You need a new, untrimmed Pokémon Platinum Rom. Now you patch that Rom. After you patched that Rom with Version 2, you have to rename you .SAV file, so it matches the patched .ROM file!

and i opened the unedited unpatch plaitnum rom

Looks like a valiant effort, but honestly, this is kind of drowned out by the four billion other D/P/Pl hacks. Plus, I think I need to stay Pokemon free until B/W drop, haha. Concentrate my Pokeffort.

Also, as much as I love most of the ideas presented here, I hate the idea of adding the two new Pokemon. That seems like an unjustified step too far, since we know nothing about them, gameplay-wise. Especially if you have to replace two other Pokemon - just leave the original list alone and wait for the next gen.

Wow. How convenient. Just finished my playthrough of Heart Gold. I played Pearl when it came out, but I have NO idea where it is now. So I've been playing through Platinum to get a lot of Sinnoh Pokemon. Lo and behold, here comes Pokemon Platinum Deluxe.

Patching my rom now. Thanks for the work! I'll be back to post some ideas/bugs.

One idea for the time being (although I think I remember someone saying how this would be impossible) is to hack the game so that your Pokemon will follow you OUTSIDE of Pal Park (and any type), like HG/SS. Back when the games were first released I searched everywhere to see if there was an Action Replay code to allow this, since Pokemon following you IS already technically possible via means of the Pal Park. Hm.

Anyway, thanks for the hard work!

Hm.. I've used xdelta before but I've never had any trouble with it.

I'm running Windows 7.. I select the patch, the rom.. and when I click "apply", nothing happens. The program just sits there and no file is made. Anybody ever have this problem?

Is there a newer version of xdelta available?
