A quick little fix - I just decided to patch it through the UPS patcher, also listed on the main page. Worked much better.

i would love to try the UPS patcher....shame my internets so obsolete, dont really fancy waiting 11hours for a 80mb file, lol!

Can you post some ss of Zorua and Zoruark?
What replaces Team Galactic?

The story has been changed and all Events as well.
I didn't implement Zorua / Zoroark (yet), not sure if I will though. Maybe as an extra patch so you can choose to take it or not.
Team Galactic is replaced by all kinds of different people. Just play it and you'll see.

the version works fine on my new ak2i with akaio 1.6 rc2 but found bug some trainers names are "????" z. b. at trainingsschool in first town.

Yep, I'm aware of that. It's not my fault, but my rom editor tool's. Will try to fix it for any future releases. Thanks a lot for playing.

Just another quick request. Is there any chance you could make the patch not trim the ROM at all? Makes my flash cart's cheat program not recognize the game as Pokemon Platinum, and I can't use my 2x movement cheats and such. If that's not possible/plausible, that's understandable too. (Fixed it with RCCE, just lazy and dreading changing it every time the database gets updated)

I think I might restart my save. Story-wise I had just defeated Crasher Wake. I patched the game, next thing I know, Cynthia is running off talking about Darkrai. And. Then there was some other trainer I've never seen before. Also, my name was ????????????????????Ryan and rival was ???????????????Matt. Kind of confused the crap out of me, considering I was just about to go 'meddle' in some Team Galactic affairs.

Liking the patch so far, though!

Hey, you messed up the name tags for the player and rival!
When I go to look at my mailbox next to my house in Twinleaf Town it says "'s House" and when I was talking to Prof Rowan he called me by what I named my Rival! "Nolan, will you take this National Pokedex and"...
That is annoying and should be fixed in the next version.
I also wonder what the finished product will look like. I hope we are able to change arround and edit the maps of the 4th gen Pokemon games real soon so that I can start making my own regions.

Try using the other patching method I added in the first post.

@ The other posts, sorry for all the bugs. I'll really try to fix them for the next version! Therefore, I'll have to test the game again.

I get a white screen when starting up. (version 1.1)
using:
DSTT
TTMenu 1.17a12(newest)
Pokemon Platinum (U)
Newest USRCHEAT.DAT

Doesnt patch(version 2.0)
when i start up the .gui and select the patch and rom.
Clicked Apply patch, but doesnt do a thing

When patching with UPS I also get a white screen

Dawn's: Nice to meet you, a CHIMCHAR!; Hi Lucas! Are you catching Pokemon? Wow! You've already caught 6 (insert Japanese Characters) with you!; Vs. Recorder, here it is.; I saw your friend Lucas go in there earlier.

Mom's: What is it ,?; Oh, I know! , I've got something that you'll find useful!; I'm just joking dear! Yup, Journal!; Bye-bye, Parcel!

Nolan's Mom's: Lucas's Mom: Excuse me. Is my little Lucas here?; Nolan, please take this to Lucas for me.; Okay, please take that to my Lucas.

When i was reading through this..... I couldn't stop laughing. (With the random names appearing). Not tried out the second release but, I think I'll wait longer until the bugs are sorted.

I was exiting Solaceon Town trying to use the Daycare to level up Pokemon and it said that the rom image has crashed when an exclamation mark appeared over the character's head. Does this mean there is no programming past this point?
