ROM Hack Pokemon HGSS translation, what is the $path?

Hello, I want to translate Pokemon Heart Gold.

I use thenewpoketext...
but...
You have to put a NEW version of ndstool in $path, but I don't now what that $path means...

Please help!

"$path" would be the folder where thenewpoketext is in.
So you put the ndstool.exe in the thenewpoketext folder.

What did I rong?

- I open thenewpoketext.exe
- I open my rom in thenewpoketext.exe
- It makes a map (tmp_romname)
- I copy the "7" In : Root-0-2
- I past it in : Root-msgdata and renamed it
- I type in thenewpoketext : getall SSTEXT.xml
- He make the SSTEXT.xml
- I don't edit it!
- I type in thenewpoketext : patch SSTEXT.xml
- I copy the msg.narc from : root-msgdata
- Past it in root-0-2 and renamed it to "7"(removed the first one)
- I type in thenewpoketext.exe : mkrom SSHG.nds

But, the rom isn't work! And I have nothing edit!

The folder : thenewpoketext is looking like this after this al :

batch(windows-opdracht)
ndstool(toepassing)
dsbuff(toepassing)
dsbuff.exe
readme.txt
script.txt
table.tbl
thenewpoketext.exe
thenewpoketext.spec
PkmSS.nds(original rom)
SSHG.nds
tmp_PkmSS(folder)
SSTEXT.xml

help me!
