Wouldn't trust any pastebin though until anything comes out directly from Plutoo. 
Okay not to be a complete noob, but does having the kernel of a console grant you near full control, and that future updates won't be able to block any hacks? Can someone clarify exactly what this means?
I've only been lurking around here for about a week but from my understanding it's the IOS that will give us near full control, not the kernal. And yeah, I saw somewhere that firmware versions won't matter eventually. Not completely sure about that, someone with more knowledge should clarify.
How do we know its 5.5 and not 5.2? Did i miss something or we all just asuming?
How are we even assuming that it's for 5.2? Was he working on the same exploit as @naehrwert ?

There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.

Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.
