Prepare to have your hearts stolen by the Phantom Thieves, as Nintendo has just announced one of their DLC fighters for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Joker and his Persona will be joining the fight. The announcement was made by Reggie during The Game Awards 2018. Joker will be the 76th character added to the game, and will be released sometime next year. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate launches tomorrow. December 7.

Personality-wise, he's a silent protagonist of the type Atlus absolutely loves. Gameplay-wise, he fights by using a Persona, which is basically a Stand with the serial numbers filed off. Although Joker can change Personas at any time, even during battle. Imagine a class-change RPG, except you can change classes at any time as a free action from a set of up to 12. They could literally go any direction with him, although I'd expect to see him use his starting Persona Arsene, which specializes in melee strikes and darkness spells. His Final Smash might involve a change to another Persona, though. He himself wields daggers, but his Persona is more important to his fighting ability.

His final Smash might be AoA or the final bullet from satanael. Wanted Yu with InO more though.

Metal gear only has the GBA games on the Nintendo. Pac-Man only has the 3D games on GC. Yes, lot of FF spin-off games are on Nintendo console, but cloud is in only two of them. For a character to be eligible in Smash, it seems that that character must be in at least one game on a Nintendo console, cameo or not.
