Gaming Persona 3 Portable its OUT!

Ok, not to start a flame war or something but I don't get why people are fussing about the sex thing. This game obviously deals with contents that are mature even though looking at it from a school boy/girl's perspective. Suicide and insanity to name a few, so I wouldn't be shocked if sex was another entry here.

BTW - a little off: I read somewhere that due to the success of the SMTersona ports to the PSP, Atlus have decided to port Persona 4 as well.... I have searched and searched but haven't found anything else. I'd really love to see Teddy and hear his squeaky voice on the go.

^Here's hoping. I haven't played P4 either. Of course, there will be a bazillion fans up in arms about this going "Why not make P5 instead?" and so on and so on. Somehow, I think I know where the FF fans are going with their being excited now. XD;; Next time, I won't be so nasty when Squeenix decides to do another fanservice game... or will I?

Anyway. I spotted a weird error today. It was around the time the culture clubs have opened recruits again so I went to check it out. I joined the art club but the game said I joined the music club. XD;; the weird thing is, I'm certain it's the art club because it DOES say art club for the S Link and events that happened after.

27 hours in so far (god this game is sucking all of my life), it's really awesome !

Tartarus is getting a bit long though, I usually go to the next "big" access point and they are 10 or 12 floors apart now (4th block)...but the fights are so amazing I just keep on going !

Just maxed Yuko's Slink and you DO have sex with her, it is HEAVILY implied so yeah...

Oh and if you want to max courage/charm, go to the cafe on mondays,tuesdays and wednesdays, you can work there and you will gain both stats + some money !

I think the developers made a mistake, cause you find out the score on a Friday, which is when Mitsuru goes to student council and you can't talk to her cause the student council room turns into s-link for that other guy, but when you go back to the dorm she doesn't mention a prize.

And I'm not sure but for the second exam, she gave me the Knight card set and Ma... something... one Ma card. The one that increases the entire party's defense.

And here's a tip. The Quiz Game (Arcade, Wednesdays) gives a nice Academics bonus.

How do you guys pick your personas? Dyou find just one with the right skills you need and what skills do you guys prefer? HP consuming or SP consuming?

I find I turn mine into Pokemon. I find a Personas which have a single target spell and the Ma version and keep one per element. It worked for me til the 70th floor.

I do the same thing you do when it comes to picking Personas. I try to fit as many elements as I can on one Persona. If I happen to be missing an element, I just rely on party members for the others. I also have at least one physical attack Persona in the event that I'm fighting a boss without any weaknesses or resistances as they tend to do more damage.

Just wondering, has anyone tried using the pspstates plugin with Persona 3 (on a clean ISO/UMD on GEN-D3 with the Prometheus addon) and if so, did it work?

I'm thinking of having a full set of elemental Persona... like one with Agi/Maragi, one with Bufu/Mabufu, Garu/Magaru and Zio/Mazio and just upgrade them when something gets better. I'm looking for a good Zio specified one right now because I think mine is lagging behind the others. Though I do want Quetzalcoatl, Shiva and Seiryuu in my team because I'm a myth fangirl like that.

I'm running a pair of personas that don't overlap abilities - one has Fire/Wind & buffing, the other one has Ice/Lightning & debuffing. Made a hard decision and once the weapon shop opened, I bought 2x SP Regen 2 and taught them, now I'm not having any SP problems.

Healing is easy, you get enough cash to buy 30~40 of the weak Medicine, that's pretty much all you need for 1 night of going from the last barrier you reached to the next one, as far as I can see.

Oh, right, I don't know what's better - relying on actually good (but underlevelled) personas that you have, or fusing them into newer (and higher levelled) but not as good in terms of skills personas? I'm thinking the former, but there's so many cool combinations, the cuteness overwhelmed me and I made a Neko Shogun, it's so cuuuuute, like a Samurai Kitty ^^"

I saw someone on Gamefaqs who's been using Tam Lin all the way to level 45 or something. XD
I'll prolly stick to these guys until I get to my favourites... Then those I'm going to keep those til end game. I'm aiming for Quezzie, Shiva and Kali in my endgame party.

IMHO, it's a matter of succession. Like I pick the Persona I want to upgrade and see what I can upgrade it to which inherits both solo and whole group spells.

Quick tip for those who don't know! The skills the Persona you want to fuse changes each time you cancel the fusion so if you want a particular skill to pass over, you can just cancel the fusion and pick the "Ingredient" Persona again.
