I can get into the Pasta menu, but it looks to just reboot to the normal FW once I press start.

Try to downgrade, install devmenu/bbm with the pbt-cfw, update your sysnand to 9.2 again with sysupdater and the pbt-cfw then retry.

It is possible that the 3Ds refuse to start correctly, if there is a application with a very destroyd banner, but this could be fixed, by simply remove the sd card at start. But this would not autamaticly happen if you install out of region games(they simply wont show up in the menu).

so you think if you install any (pirated) content, then use NTR (which does not allowed pirated content) - but IF it did, you would not suddenly receive a legit ticket making it work without hacks...

Your problem may not be the cia but a case of "size really does matter", hehe. Sounds like the sd card in your 3ds is too small. Seriously, that was a huge problem when the game first came out. Get a 4GB card and try running the game.

This whole Pasta CFW is great if you don't have a Gateway
I tried it out and it works nice, but having to deal with regionlock and spoofing to enter eshop and all this in sysnand isn't really my thing :/
I'll stick to 9.2 sysnand and 9.7 emunand with gateway for now on my old 3ds, so easy to play whatever you like
and what about my other systems, well the're all on 9.7 sysnand

When Pasta CFW (or any other) supports some sort of emunand and is regionfree, then i'll be back on it

One of the devs wrote (around 100 pages ago ) that support for 5.x/6.x/7.x is coming. That might not be a good idea. I can't possibly know, but I'm pretty sure the offsets for region free / FW spoofing / FW update blocking (has anyone suggested that yet?) will most likely be different through the FW versions as well. Thus, adding multiple FW support may multiply the required efforts to add additional features and significantly slow down development. The amount of testing required will surely multiply. Plus anyone on FW below v9.2 can upgrade to v9.0 or v9.2 and even downgrade again using GWs method.

After all, there must be a reason why GW doesn't support FW versions in between, right?
