BACK TO TOPIC

I've been playing this on an emulator (going to buy later), and it really makes me want a keyboard hack for it!

There was an AuotHotKey script that would let you play the first one with a keyboard. I bet you could use that script with minimal modification.

EDIT: Errr, I found it, but all the links are dead....

EDIT: Found an EXE, extracted the script, working on making it work.

People are getting way too crazy over the anti-piracy. The patch will arrive when it arrives.
Just chill. There are plenty of other games to entertain you until the patch is ready.

It's great to see somebody taking matters into their own hands!

Super Scribblenauts keyboard controls!

I found a script somewhere that was made for No$ and Scribblenauts 1. I hacked it up to work with DeSmuME, but I didn't spend enough time on it, you will have to do a little modification to the location of the keys if you don't have a setup just like mine.

Requirements:
DeSmuME
AutoHotKey
Must not be computer illiterate

http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?cq6w3ytccz6hjn2

READ THE README
I will not answer your questions on how to use it, it's in the readme.
READ THE README

Like I said, you must be somewhat computer literate to modify the click positions for your setup. I will not help anyone who can't figure it out.

If any of you 12 people who downloaded the script get it working, please post here saying so.

Let me explain a bit more on setting it up. That pic I told you to put in paint(remember, alt+prntscreen, you only need the DeSmuME windows) is used to alter the commands so the script knows where to click. Like if the 'a' button is at 55,365 in your pic, you would change 'a::clica(blah,blah)' to 'a::clica(55,365)' in the ahk file. Shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to get it working on your computer.

Wow this makes everything so much easier. Many thanks to you for the effort! It almost makes me want to stick with the emulated version, just for the typing program.

+10 patches for you good sir.

EDIT: it should be clear, but I had no issues setting this up. I have everything working (added a few keys myself, so I can open up the notepad and close it if needed). I tried the default window setting.. but I can't play with it that small, so I modified the coordinates to fit my full windowed version.
