This is really helpful, thanks. How do you know which version of the game you have, though? I tried using your step-by-step for applying cheats MANY pages back, but couldn't get it to work no matter how much I tried, even following your instructions to the letter. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.
Well that depends on how you got your game and what game is it, as not all games have multiple revisions (mostly two I think)

I will take Smash Bros. Melee as an example.

If you downloaded it because your disc is not functional anymore (of course that happens), then the website should have the v1.0, v1.1 or v1.2 legend at the side of the name, and you can also check the MD5 in redump.org to confirm the version.
Here are the MD5 hashes for all the versions of Smash Melee:
http://smashboards.com/threads/finding-out-your-melee-revision-for-sure.329103/

If you ripped it and still have the original Mini-DVD (game disc) for Melee, you can check the version by checking the inner disc circle, which should have something like:
DOL-GALE 0-00/01/02.
Whatever the last digit is, that's your version:
http://smashboards.com/threads/version-differences-in-melee-1-0-1-1-1-2-pal.321230/

If you still need help, let me know.

What game are you trying to apply cheats to?

Who was the first who reported Sonic Riders freezing after the third race? Can you confirm if it worked before and broke later or was it always broken? I wanna test this but I just don't know where to begin testing.

I've experienced random crashes on Mario Party 4 when starting a mini-game in Party Mode. I'm using r216 on USB, memory card emulation ON set as multi (1019 blocks) on a Wii U.

Is there some configuration I can made to stop these crashes? What more information can I provide to solve this problem? I appreciate the help beforehand.

P.S.: I've made the md5 and sha-1 check and everything is ok with the iso.

Same problem, except I'm using single memory card and using SD.
It seems like it's random, like before/after minigame, after results, anytime there's a white screen, that's when a crash could occur.

Im using a 16gb Flash drive that I literally just got for this, and as long as I dont have at least 5gb of free space on it, my usb wont work on nintendont. Like I can only have a few games on it at a time and really want to use the rest of the 5gb on it. Any help?

Actually Joostin you're wrong, Sonic Adventure Alpha works now, also Sonic Mega Collection works fine now (a little delay as you play longer but that's expected) the music doesn't garble and all games work fine, sadly though the proto version still has audio issues and most games don't have audio while the game in general has garbled audio, Sonic Adventure Chao Race still black screens, Sonic Riders still freezes after the third race, and Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 now black screens at start (confirm?), I have to say though while I like the new font I think the background is a little distracting, why did you move the SD/USB option to the center right on top of the logo I don't understand, also the Native Controls option is completely cut on my TV screen, I know it's there though cause I could see small dots and I moved the pointer to it, I just can't see wither it's on or off (mostly off since I never turn it on), other than that looking good!
Could you take a picture? TV's have different offsets that often cut off images. There actually should be plenty of space, but very few TV's actually show the whole image. You can sometimes fix it in your settings.

I thought the SD/USB selection looked a little strange way at the top, so I moved it down. Nobody else had a problem with it. I'm sorry my UI changes aren't good enough for you.

Btw, I just uploaded a fix for the Update Menu not always appearing.

I didn't have an issue with the update menu, and I know my TV cut off a small part of the screen, I always noticed that, I can try to take a photo but I can't guarantee it's gonna be clear, my camera isn't the best brand.

I just don't see why change the position for the SD/USB after we got used to it, I wouldn't mind it if the background wasn't in the way, guess I'm the only one who's having an issue here.

Exactly. Got one now before the results screen. :P I thought my problem was the memory card set to multi but you have a single one... Is your iso compressed or raw?

In this case, should not the compatibility list be edited? I mean, at least add it in the notes. I don't remember if this happens with the other Mario Party games but I gotta test them later.

All I need to see is how far I need to adjust the screen.

Are you seriously pouting because I centered a menu?

The reason you're the only one having an "issue" is that other people are happy with the time and energy I put into the update.

What game are you trying to apply cheats to?

Melee is the main game I'm trying to put cheats on, because I want to unlock everything without having to rebeat the game all over again. I have a physical copy, but I only have a Wii U, not a Wii, so ripping the disc isn't an option for me.

I tried using a fully unlocked save, but can't figure it out how to put it in the right format for the life of me. I thought I had it figured out at one point, but Nintendont just read it as a blank memory card when I booted it up.

Anyway, thanks for these steps. I'll try them out in a bit. Sorry if I'm making stupid mistakes. I've never been into the GameCube loading scene until yesterday.

Is it possible to customize the controllers 2nd analog (camera movement) on the Wii Classic Controller? as I'd like to invert the left and right or swap them the opposite way round on Super Mario Sunshine.

You need to use the following cheat code for Sunshine. This will flip the camera's X axis. I've used it and it works perfectly.

Inverted Camera Rotation (C-Stick) [Ralf]

Small update:
-make sure that for extremly slow hdds the bluetooth controller stays updated when reading a random sector every 10 seconds
-changed up the widescreen patches C_MTXPerspective and C_MTXLightPerspective, should fix weird patch bugs in games like pokemon xd and colosseum
-added a few selected game specific widescreen patches, credits for those go to Ralf from gc-forever for making the original ocarina codes
One thing to those widescreen patches, most of them are very similar so I dont know if we really need specific patches for every single game, I could cut off most patches already since they are included in the C_MTXPerspective patch.

Maybe a dev can add that into the settings menu as a On/Off toggle in the future

Edit: Didn't realize it was for Sunshine. Maybe they can use that as a base to make it compatible for all games

I'm really sorry about that, I guess I just need to get used to it, I'm one person who has difficulties adjusting with change.

Could anyone tell me how to compile Nintendont in Linux? And what files/executables/libraries are needed to do so. I wanted to try a few things in the code :P

Thanks a lot!
