as log as your hard drive is plugged into two ports you should be fine

yes, but i use USBLoader GX instead

Are you referring to USB Flash Drives? If so, don't bother with them as they can be very temperamental.

They are saying you need a USB Y-Cable for your HDD. Unless your HDD is powered via a wall socket.

A HDD is short for Hard Drive, some hard drives are powered separately from a wall socket, and others just get all there power from usb, if you get a hard drive for your wiiu, make sure it has a y-cable or is powered externally via wall socket.

Ebay is a good place to start. make sure to get a y-cable also

we cant link to backups, its against the rules of the site. But if you have a windows computer or a android phone, search for "Wii U USB Helper" its on this site, and you can get your backups there.
