Why is this forum and all of gbatemp viewed as dangerous by Google Chrome?
Same here and this is the only website doing this. This is the message i get.

Deceptive site ahead
Attackers on s2.filetrip.net may trick you into doing something dangerous like installing software or revealing your personal information (for example, passwords, phone numbers, or credit cards.)

Any FE players here? Is it possible to import the FE9 Epilogue data to FE10 when I start a new game? I heard it's supposed to prompt you when you start a new game on FE10. Apparently I'm not getting that prompt.

you can use the gamepad only if you make a wii vc injection, you cant use it on regular vwii.

Ok cool, i did get a gc game to work with the gamepad thanks to wiiu usb loader.

My second question, usb gx loader no longer reads my gc games on my sd card, yet using nintendont itself from hbc shows the games. Is there a way to say that once you press the home button can it bring you back to nintendont to select another gc game instead of it going to the wii menu?

no you cant return to nintendont at all.you either return to homebrew channel on vwii or usbloader, on wiivc you can only return to wiiu menu or shutdown the console.

is there a tutorial as to how to get the BIOS to work because, even though you mentioned it, you never went into detail as to how to get it to work.

It's in the first post. Name the file what it says to and put it on the root of the drive your games are on.

That would require simulating the Memory Card somehow in Wii VC (That is what you're trying to do right? Could've sworn you posted about this in another thread.) Requires a real Wii with Gamecube Memory Card slots. Then transfer the FE10 save from that Wii to the vWii Menu on a Wii U.

Sometimes voice-output doesnt work in cutscenes and so-called "Skits" in Tales of Symphonia[GER-GQSDAF], starts happening after loading a save-state.

tales will always do some tiny bips but for voices not playing make sure you have unlock read speed to off.

Readspead unlock is set to off. But i've also noticed that the screen is sometimes partially blurred. This doesn't look as if it's intended to be like that.

if you have an md5 checked iso and everything is off or auto(including all options like width widescrees and such) besides mcemu(wich can be on since it doesnt affect anything and you need it) then everything should work perfectly.

if your iso is not md5 checked or you have other options set to on then there can be issues besides the beeps wich happen on that game and SSBM too.

Nintendonts built in md5-calculator allways freezes with a "read error occurred". tested both usb-ports. On all ISOs i've tried. Have this problem not just now it exsists for longer. Could it be not enough system-memory? would deleting wii-savestates help? my hdd is 500gb fat32.

Use the tool in my signature. It will say "Found" when it's done if the MD5 is good.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
