I got this screen on r307 and up, it's the progresive scan screen selection, it doesn't show any text:
After that screen, you go to a little intro, then another window appears, this time the save memory checks (no text displayed either):
You can blind select the first one which is "yes"

Maybe the ISO is corrupt, did you check the SHA-1, CRC32 and MD5 hashes on redump? Also, the image needs to be 1,459,978,240 bytes exactly.
Have you tried disabling all settings but MC Emu?
I know it worked on 306, but there's nothing to lose.

Yeah, I don't have any setting forced, the only setting I force in GCN games is progressive scan when they doesn't support natively, which is not StarFox Assault case.
well acording to fix the font code for starfox assault is always iffy sometimes works other times doesnt, what you see is font failled to apply.
Well will use r306 for this game for now, as up to r306 it always fail to apply the font =P
we need quite the security it seems, I hope we dont get too slowed down now:
-limited the amount of fake interrupt checks to 120 times a second, this should still give a rather quick overall loading speed and should prevent certain games from creating a read overflow and freezing itself with that

try 313 it fixed rogue squadron II with real mc atleast i can get it to work no issues now on 313.
i just tryed assualt on this 313 wih my wiiu and i got font everytime try the 313 it fixed it for me.
Don't forget that Sonic Riders PAL still does not load 3P-4P and Tag Mode!
are you on the latest rev 313? my guess is not? remenber you need to update before reporting bugs.

Anybody here have a Xbox series S and a series X, is the performance difference noticeable? Not worried about 4k. I have a series X but not a series S and was curious. (Reason- I was thinking of buying a series S for a second tv, for when grandkids come over, to keep them off my X) -
