Damn. Just noticed C00lr0ms gcn section is gone. Not that I encourage dLing is0s, but it was a good place to at least TRY a game before buying a copy off Ebay, Amazon or what have you.

#RIP
Don't make me laugh, why do people use that shit website anyway? most of the roms are bad dumps and broken, I can direct you to a far better website to download a "rom" if you don't mind being a "hustler" or a pirate, don't try to be cool or live in an emulator paradise.

Another update to the loader
-Reworked part of how the update system works
-HID files are now saved to the drive with games, not the drive that Nintendont was launched from.
-You are now given a choice to redownload the latest version in case someone forgets to update NintendontVersion.h
-Changed the update menu to be scrollable.
-Menus use an actual arrow now instead of a greater/lesser than symbol.
-Got rid of the loader.h/loader.c files since they haven't been necessary for I don't know how long
-A little minor cleanup.

Hi chaps, can anyone tell me if there is a reliable way to use Nintendon't on WiiU in the following circumstance:
I have a WiiU formatted drive and a Fat32 drive directly from my Wii.
I can seem to have the FAT drive in the bottom port and run Nintendon't fine... or I can connect it in the top and run Wii games... is there anyway to avoid the swapping? :/
(And a little off topic - I can't seem to see my saves from my Wii nand emulater... help appreciated)

I'm wanting to migrate completely to my WiiU now that my Smash Bros and GameCube adaptor has arrived! :)

I thought you can use any usb port for anything now?

you can my guess is his wii rom loader only acepts the top back port on wiiu i guess but nintendont also works on the top wiiu back port so idkn why he switches tbh.
I'm just having trouble getting this working nicely - that's why I'm having to switch. I'm using USBLoaderGX from Cyan's sig.
If I don't use the bottom port for Nintendon't it just crashes to a black "reloading" screen.

Anyone got a step by step what I need to do to get this working without having to unplug and switch and generally mess about?

Edit: To stop the OT here, you can reply in the thread I opened trying to solve this today...: http://gbatemp.net/threads/decided-to-migrate-from-wii-to-vwii-some-help-please.375444/
Any help appreciated! ;)

We have no idea what version hes running. So we have no idea what it will do with multiple drives.
We also havent seen enough reports since yesterdays update which will affect multiple drives to know what the current version will do.

I'm also concerned about how updating fatfs will affect drive compatibility

Check out that new rev, in my tests I had no issues anymore with starfox adventures:
-reworked audio stream base to go through the actual disc interface code instead of a hacked one, that way starfox adventures should have enough time to properly enable its subtitles
-use the same fatfs settings as we did in the past
-minor cache sync corrections

USBLoaderGX deletes nincfg.bin from both SD and USB before launching nintendont, because users requested it (they incorrectly thought it was what made nintendont crash, but whatever I did it to please everyone)
If you use an old version of nintendont or if you don't use autoboot, it re-creates the nincfg.bin in both loader partition+game partition.
if you use a autoboot and the new nintendont versions with arguments support, it doesn't create the nincfg.bin file at all and every settings are passed by arguments in memory at nintendont launch.

If users need an option to always write/keep the nincfg.bin to launch nintendont from HBC with the same settings than the previous launch from USBGX, I can add it.

Can you make it so GX only deletes/overwrites the nincfg.bin if using an old version of nintendont that doesn't support args? I use both GX and nintendont for launching games (GX when I need cheats). I'd like my nintendont configured settings to survive after launching a game through GX. (I'm assuming launching nintendont with args and autoboot doesn't modify the nincfg.bin.)

yes, I can remove the cfg deletion. it will keep the nincfg.bin file, but launching nintendont will not launch the last played game or last setting (set by GX). Isn't it a little weird to have an old setting instead of the last launched?

Perhaps a GX option where we can set what we want.
Something like:
nincfg.bin = Delete / Update with GX Settings / Not modified

Using Official Wii U Gamecube Adapter, R+Z+Start does reset, but R+Z+B+D-Pad Down doesn't exit to loader. Do I need to change the controller.ini?

The reset combo for the adapter is R+L+Z+Start.

Can we get this added to the first post please? It's asked frequently.
