Somehow, I kinda doubt that libfat would work on DSi SD-slots. (DLDI)
I wonder if my homebrew would be a good CFW for DSi.

Custom firmware that allows flash carts to be run? Yes please.
QUOTE(SoulAnger @ Nov 4 2008, 03:24 PM) Homebrew and commercial roms, without carts is a great feature for the dsi. I might think of buying one.
Btw, do you guys remember when Team 17 said that they were afraid of DSi's SD-slot? Haha, they were right.
What?? The hack is running off the SD card?? If it is I'm sure Nintendo will try to update the firmware.SoulAnger said:Homebrew and commercial roms, without carts is a great feature for the dsi. I might think of buying one.

RupeeClock said:Don't get too excited about running code from the SD slot, SD access is slow, microSD and Memory Stick Duo are much faster.
Team 17 were right, and it was Shigeru Miyamoto himself who insisted on the SD slot.
By the way, buffer overflows...isn't that basically what the Twilight Hack does? (goes crazy when horses name is too long)
Nintendo sure did a great job fixing that exploit.
I thought SDHC only allowed for higher capacity.hankchill said:RupeeClock said:Don't get too excited about running code from the SD slot, SD access is slow, microSD and Memory Stick Duo are much faster.

Not necessarily; since the SD Card Slot is built on the SDHC spec, it should be pretty fast access.
And yes that's exactly what happened with the Twilight hack
Na, didn't he have to open up the DSi to flash it? If he messed it up it couldn't he just put back the old firmware he backed up?omatic said:Wow, he borrowed a friend's DSi, and then flashed it with a custom firmware!? Talk about a "I hope this works..." moment - I'd be scared of turning that DSi into a brick should the firmware not work.
Again, the PS3 has been hacked a long time ago. What you're referring to "hacked" is bootlegging games.Good ol' Phil said:Someone should hack ps3 already.
Yeah, it supports WPA.SjemBo1 said:All things made by people could be hacked by people
Ehh, does anyone know.. Does de DSi support WPA? That would be.. NICE
