Why are you crying? Why are you blaming Nintendo for protecting their system? Beside that, third party developers demand this kind of action.
We should get used to it, sony do this all the time, nintendo did it many times on DSi, and, as Catboy said, if you don't want, just hit "no" and stop complaining.
Now on topic, does anyone has a REAL changelog? I cant find it at all.
...Nintendo is starting to be annoying with these updates.
They do nothing but block flashcards
I would be happy to see a update that give us flash support,
or html5 support,
or/and a youtube app.
Furthermore no one is forcing you to update.

Indirectly, Nintendo is.
except that releasing an update just to block flash carts of a last gen system is just stupid.[...]
i wish there was a flashcard maker out there that would release a fashcard DS/DSi mode compatible. that didn't support piracy/retail roms. so nintendo didn't have to worry about piracy & blocking out cards every update. >.>
hmm if only it wasn't so big, & supported both micro sd cards & internal memory. >.>i wish there was a flashcard maker out there that would release a fashcard DS/DSi mode compatible. that didn't support piracy/retail roms. so nintendo didn't have to worry about piracy & blocking out cards every update. >.>

Exactly what you're looking for.
On my DSl, the hinge is in tact, but it won't stay put, so the top screen is all flimsy. I have the DSiXL in tip-top shape, so I could fall back to that.I always end up falling back to my DS Lite which has a wobbly hinge since the replacement hinge was not the best quality.
