You need Japanese Cubic Ninja and an EU 3DS of some kind.

As to the steps, you'll need to search around, there is no one guide yet.

Seriously though—my recommendation would be to save yourself a crap ton of time and sell the JP N3DS and buy an EU one. As someone who's been working on region changing an EU N3DS to an NA one (because there ARE no NA N3DS's! I don't have the option to buy one like you do!), and it's a pretty involved process.

If you're determined, recomended reading:

yes just read that sadly. but i m on a journey right now anyway. after returning i try to dump my informations and hopefully by then my oot3ds arrived to start working on the n3ds.. hope i can find spare time to create some useful stuff on my own just wanted to switch the n3ds with my o3ds (got a lot of eu o3ds so i didnt want to buy another pal n3ds but dont want to lose access to a jp eshop (love rhose jrpgs)...
why nintendo is so stupid and made region lock and different eshops...
so annoying to be honest

I want a handheld gaming system with a tablet sized screen, like a 8 or10" screen, with controllers that can detach like the Switch.

I don't see the buzz about a square screen personally. I think there will be a review on the site within a few weeks though if you are interested.

I've put down the money on the Odin 2 Mini since I just love that Vita form factor. Loved the power of the Odin 2 but the size always put me off, this one seems exactly what I've been wanting.

I don't care about the square screen it's just nice to hold something you don't have to stretch your arms a foots length

All these things expecting to be super huge is overrated just run a type c cable to your TV if you want a big display or in my case screen mirror it
