Do I still keep a copy of it in the same place in SD card?
If you need to, go ahead. But if your SD card needs more space, then it's ok to delete it as long as you are sure that both the NAND.bin and sha are stored on your PC.

Thank you for all of this.

I asked this question because I noticed in the A9LH section:
Section IV - Restoring the System

I need NANDmin.bin file. Do I have to restore it or can I skip this section?

It says
If, before following this guide, you already had an EmuNAND setup and would like to move the contents of your previous EmuNAND to your new SysNAND CFW, now is the time to follow Move EmuNAND instead of doing the first step in this section.

I don't really have any set up in my NANDmin.bin to restore.

And if I skip 1 and 2. Do I have to system update?

Thank you.

Have you installed arm9loaderhax yet?
Don't update until you install it. And flashing the NANDmin.bin will restore your 3DS back to version 9.2, where you could simply just update through System Settings to update to the latest firmware.

No, I haven't installed it yet. I just started on the arm9loaderhax page.

Hm... do you mean flashing as in restoring it to 9.2 and I'll be back to my same problem? Can I avoid restoring it and skip to updating the System Setting?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

In the A9LH what you need section, it says I need this again
I installed the Decrypt as you directed me to it. As homebrew wasn't loading. Will homebrew boot properly this time?

Yeah, I said you could use it to go back to 9.2, but that's really not needed as you want to upgrade all the way to 11.2, so just use the system settings.

That's for new3DS owners. You have to downgrade to 2.1 with the CTR transfer, then you run the safearm9loaderhax installer from the browser to install arm9loaderhax, and you're done :)
To ensure it's properly installed either you will see Luma's settings pop up once you reboot your 3DS (if you have it's arm9loaderhax.bin in the root of your SD) or boot your 3DS without an SD card and it should shut off immediately.

I can skip the homebrew part?

I have just copied everything needed to their respective folders.

Just ready to install a9lh.

I hope all goes well. :) Thank you for your support!

Cheers! Just in restoring section. I don't want you to get angry at me for asking this again. But can I skip the restoring part 1 / 2 and skip to part 3 and updating my system?

Yup, and you're sure you installed arm9loaderhax? Because if you update without it, it'll be extremely hard getting access to homebrew or a downgrade method as the only known methods are either hard mod, or an already hacked 3DS.

I went to the website and the screen froze on the bottom, I pressed select and it switched off. I didn't have to turn it off.

Should I do this part again?

Yes, clear cookies and cache and sometimes it doesn't work on the first time. Just make sure everything is in the right place on the SD card.

Okay. And once I do it again, should I do the Section III - Configuring Luma3DS again?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I keep getting a glitched screen.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I pressed select twice and it went black screen

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

IT WORKED THE 3RD TRY!

Oh good job :D
So when you turned on your 3DS, did the Luma screen pop up?

Yes, I selected 3 lines and pressed Start to save and reboot.

Can I go ahead and system update?

Doing that now. It's taking some time updating. :/

Just restarting, it's finished updating.

Do you have to agree to the policy or you can do it later?
