Need help formatting HDD with no OS

ok i just plugged it in and am now about to try ubuntu from usb.

I booted from USB and did try ubuntu. One of the partitions is still fucking active.

It let me format it to NTFS. Operatiom completed, now let's see if windows likes it

say you used the old license you had on that computer

but why does your dad need to know its a legit copy?
if hes a compyter impaired and not smart you can also tell him you got linux modified to look just like windows and got native wine (to run windows apps)
or tell him that, you transfered the license..,

or just tell him the truth, more than half people pirate it... i even think its about 70 or 80%
even repair shops use craccked windows
i bought a computer from a shop which sells computer parts (they make computer builds) and when iwas having issues installing windows they offered me to put windows on my usb for free, and it was a cracked version
lots of shops even use burned illegal copies for repair, do you think they will have the trouble of dealing with keys and etc? its more easy and praticall..
several shops i had seen them with burned dvds with "windows 7" or "windows xp" (in the past) written with a sharp on the disc...
as you can see piracy helps.. do you think i want to see all that intros and bullshit screens instead directly start watching the movie when i buy a movie on a dvd?

Free versions of Windows:

• Windows Insider Preview (no limits)
• Windows 8.1 Enterprise Trial (90-270 days)
• Windows 7 Enterprise Trial (90-270 days)

I personally use Ubuntu most of the time but if I really need to use a Windows program or port one of my programs, I switch to my Windows Insider partition.

do you know your wlan\lan chip? its from realtek? gigabyte? marvell?

if you know you can download from them directly..
otherwiste you just have to google... come on darkflare >:C

go to motherboard website, (msi in your example) and search on them for drivers for your model, it will give you wlan\lan audio and other drivers

according to the info you provided this should be your motherboard, but your model is kinda messed, the mitx part is the computer case...
select on the page if you installed a x64 or x86 windows...

I found a driver by searching 10/100/1000 and im installing

10/100/1000 means that lan device can support a 10Mb 100Mb or 1 gigabit connection... it is not the brand...
check the link i gave you, it should be that mother board..

because the 10 100 1000 is the cable transfer speed, not the brand\manufacter or anything usefull to know chip.... you had a very very very low change of having the right drivers..

I installed the drivers that u sent me and shut down my pc, but the it fucking says the hdmi is unplugged. I wouldn't be able to see if it was unplugged.

Then he just needs Realtek RTL8111G Gigabit Ethernet Controller for Ethernet.
I suppose you are trying to use Ethernet, not Wi-Fi. (The 10/100/1000 quote wouldn't make sense otherwise)

That mobo doesn't have a Wi-Fi chip per-se.
If your computer has Wi-Fi you are either getting it through a PCI add-on card, or a USB dongle.
You need to know which specific card/dongle you have to get the driver.
Going by "Encore ENEWI-1XN42 Wireless-n PCIe X1 Adapter 802.11bgn" as the only clue, I suppose it is this PCI-E add on card.
Then you need this driver.

@sarkwalvein i installed it and the internet still isn't working. I restarted my pc too. I also installed all of migles drivers
