Homebrew [NDS] Forwarder CIAs for your HOME Menu

I tried it now, and the only thing that didn't work, was adding "[ ]"...

Out of curiosity- given that TWLoader seems to be able to act as a forwarder from within 3DS mode, is there any reason why these forwarders of necessity have to be installed as DSiWare titles?

Would a stripped-down TWLoader in 3DS mode (with the TWL side installed) be able to function in place of these? Seems like that'd get around the DSiWare title limit issue, if anyone were to have the free time necessary to write it.

Not a bad idea, but then we'd somehow have to extract the DSiWare banner data, such as the 3D model, from the HOME Menu, and put them in the 3DS-mode CIAs.

Ah, it's not included/duplicated in every DSiWare CIA? That's unfortunate. I guess it would work fine with a generic VC-style banner, but it wouldn't look quite as native as the current solution.

I havent used my TTDS in a long while, and I tried to follow your guide, but my N3DS just freeze whenever I put the card inside. I have put all the correct files on the card, but It just freezes. On my DSLite nothing happends at all. I suspect that my card is broken or fake. I also have an original non-SDHC R4 card, but I dont own a non-SDHC card. What would you suggest that I should do?

Try blowing the metal parts of the TTDS card.

OK, worked around the problem, now got lots of forwarders going on, mostly pokemon tho because I have the roms on my flashcart and I use the forwarders then the roms boot off of my flash cart. Also got some sonic roms too

Do you have any plans to update this to fix compatibility with the DSTWO? I have the same problem I've seen a few other people asking about, where the forwarder just boots into the selection menu instead of actually loading up the game.

I just get a white screen.

The forwarder template for SD ROMs is compiled with an older devkitARM/libnds version, so running the latest nds-bootstrap won't work.

It seems that Pokemon Soulsilver doesn't seem to work with the forwarder. It can launch the game but when I select my game and try and play it, it just black screens.

Newer NTR games don't work with Acekard 2i.

I recommend the R4I Gold 3DS from www.r4ids.cn. It works with Soul Silver and all other Pokemon games.

I have this cart. Is it compatible with the forwarders? I dont see it as compatible or not compatible, but I dont want to risk a brick. See below for info on its folders, in case its a clone of a compatible cart, maybe? I dont understand much about it.

This is its root/__rpg folder. There's also another folder called EEPROM_cnv.
