Hardware N3DS NAND backup possible, I hope.

@dg_dex Thanks again ! I've seen a man who do that, I tried but the wire always get out. I think I can't solder on the copper track (maybe because of my poor tools).

How are you soldering? I suggest using non acidic flux and then hearlting the track up with your iron, then quickly apply a small amount of solder to the track. Scrape the green texture from the board before you attempt to solder to the track. Be very careful. Do not apply a lot of heat to those tracks or it could end up being game over.

The matter is there is no track around the torn CLK point...
NB: It is New 3DS model (not XL)

None what so ever? So your saying the track is in between the board? If so, couldn't one simply just remove a small layer form the board to reveal the copper track?

Yes the track seems to go through the PCB of the motherboard like for CMD point on 3DS XL.
When you see the size of the CLK, it is impossible to weld on a smaller track yet (if you find it).

No need to apologise. We're all here to help each other. Milerwan isn't tying to dampen your spirits. Melerwan's simply just trying to inform you that this motherboard is no longer recoverable. I think Milerwan owns or works for infinity dream. Melerwan's very knowledgeable when it comes down the 3ds console. I suspect that the CLK track is so fine that no solder will even apply itself to the copper track. The only way out of this is to purchase a new motherboard unfortunately. Sorry.

Unfortunately I don't have money to send my n3ds to infinity dream, I know that they are specialist. A motherboard cost 100 and I paid it 150 so maybe I'll buy another n3ds if I really can't repair it.

Can anyone make me the pinouts micro sd sandisk reader? I do not know why, but where the micro sd should go there 9 points instead of 8. The console shows me the error 400, but the computer tells me to insert disk into the drive.

wow this is the first time i see your post and i done my hard mod in march and i have exacly that setup even the port's are the same,

and i used the altern CLK and Ground and my setup works with just using DAT0 I get 5.2mb copy speed when writing to nand

but you should have used a nail file, that's what i used to get a smooth finish =)

If someone knows a way to get this to work let me know, otherwise be aware you most likely will not be able to use this model going forward.

Curious if you mean 5307? I don't think Realtek has a 3507 chipset? (I am not sure) unless the chipsets they are using are no longer by realtek. Anyways a firmware update could of been rolled out on that chipset which, may cause it to not work anymore. Thanks for the info!

You know, thinking about this, wouldn't it just be easier to wire up the points to the 3ds's own SD card slot? I assume it would only trigger the blue screen if connected to a card reader and not when a standard SD card was inserted

Thats not how it works, for A whole list of reasons and that means sacrificing ever using sd card space in your 3ds

Try adding a SD card port that is wired to the NAND with a small SD Card reader that is compatible with the 3DS and add a switch to turn it on/off.

Where did you get a the vinyl sticker of the black rayquaza? I want one for my N3ds XL but says its only for old 3ds xl...

Thanks for the tutorial, I did some hardmod on 3ds old normal and on xl (with my laptops sd reader),
In new 3ds xl was so dificult to do because sd readers, in my coutry are so dificult to find, that was the reason why I used a micro sd to usb reader(nintendo ds flash card for example ), look the pics.

I had try lots of reader,include the RTS5309 RTS5156 RTS5308 . they are all down...hard to find RTS5301 or RTS5306 OR RTS5307
