I'm having troubles modding system applets. (I want to replace the sound file for Games Notes and Friend List.)

I've first tried with LayeredFS but that doesn't seem to be possible.

Then I tried Home Menu Rebuilder Tool, and the edited cia just crashes the system. (Yes, I made sure it's encrypted before installing.)

Is there any other way, if possible?

EDIT: I figured it out. Just use these tutorials below.

Hi there, hope you're still active!

I'm playing with system applet modding as well and your post helped me quite a bit in that. I'm getting Luma3DS crashes at random while my system applets are modded, did you experience this too? I'm trying to narrow down the list of causes.

Thanks!
