Aside from the graphic crisis it's currently under, this game is pretty much perfection! Of course, I have to get used to the controls because I mainly play Pocket Edition and Xbox One edition. The resolution in tablet mode is just so clear to the point that it feels like it's a 1080p screen. I love the fact that it's another on the go game that I can take on the road, which is perfect timing because I'm taking a trip later to Houston, Texas to visit some family members. One thing I might not be fond of is the control sticks for the joycons because they are very, very sensitive but that's pretty much it.
Taking it on the go can be great especially if you have a hotspot on your phone or a random hotspot device so you can play those mini games that some love. Soon it will be better when they finally add 1080p support thank god! We even have the Mario Mash-Up that we can enjoy while the PlayStation and Xbox users can't at all. And I am so proud of the 4J and Mojang teams for making it possible and finally making the world somewhat bigger than they were on WiiU.

I completely disagree that the switch version is the definitive minecraft, the Graphics are shit compared to PS4 and PC. Mario mash up isn't even that fun either

How many hours can you play before your Switch turns off? I also wondered why wasn't Pocket Edition ported to the Switch instead?
Around a few hours same with iphone

Well the graphics isn't because of the power of the switch it's just they are having trouble with the docking and undocking change in resolution and I know they could have improved the Mash up map but we still have an awesome skin pack and texture pack

Check your Privilege.
MCPE 1.1 = MCPC 1.12
Afaik the PE version are not the same as the PC ones. Also, 1.1 is not 1.10 so...
EDIT: this meaning fe: the 1.8 PE won't have the same changes as the 1.8 PE version. They have diferent blocks, mechanics, items...

They are going to have the same stuff with MCPE getting what MCPC got in 1.11 along with the new stuff in 1.12

It doesn't matter if its the best console version. It still pales in comparison to the PC version so much it isn't even worth considering imo.
Even if you don't like mods, the flexibility with setting up servers on the PC makes all the difference. Dedicated servers, no server cap... Multiplayer is near unplayable without these.
If you do like mods, people have make entire new games out of Minecraft, like MineZ.

I guess the one advantage it has is it's portable, but wouldn't the Vita version be better for that?

I can't believe people are talking about graphics being better on one console over the other. Minecraft isn't really a graphic heavy game <_< Though the PC version will be the best version (PC versions are generally teh best version due to mods and PC power), the switch version would be the best Definitive console version, as its both pretty big in world size and portable

Also i read the Vita version isn't that great and is fairly bad. (though this is what i read and have been told.)
