Mario Odyssey isn't the only Mario experience we'll be getting later this year.

Kotaku has recently leaked that the Mario and Rabbids crossover RPG is real and will be coming exclusively to the Nintendo Switch later this fall.

Although the person who sent the assets asked us not to share them, they corroborate the existence of a bizarre crossover RPG that’s currently scheduled to come to Switch in either August or September. Ubisoft is developing Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle on the publisher’s proprietary Snowdrop engine, according to the assets we’ve seen. The game’s selling points appear to be a) turn-based combat, b) two-player local co-op, and c) a goofy sense of humor. (The art we’ve seen features Mario and crew wielding guns that shoot laser beams.)

The game will apparently have eight playable characters: Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Peach, and, bizarrely, four Rabbids dressed up as Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, and Peach.

I for one, a completely unbiased person in this matter, think this will be the greatest game of all time and that all other RPG's should be canceled so that this perfect game can take the spotlight. I'd like to point out I take full credit for the existence of this game. It was made for me.

Like you don't want Minions in Steven Universe. Just because Minions was on Cartoon network a lot doesn't mean they're going to put them in (arguably) one of their only good shows.

It's off-putting like that Mercedes Benz DLC for Mario Kart 8. That was just super immersion breaking, and I kinda feel the same vibes from this Rabbids crossover.

Rabbids are some fucking pre-school baby characters. Just looking at the zero budget design of these creatures makes me want to punch them in the face, like the fucking Teletubbies.

So long as Ubisoft doesn't have too much gameplay input, (Was not a fan of child of light) I think the idea is cute and fun. I look forward to it.

Somthing I would actually like is this to be a "party" game. Definitely not yet anothr cheap minigame collection but a multiplayer rpg/tabletop kind of game. Kinda like dokapon

I don't know why Nintendo exposes some characters more often then other characters. They should be expose as evenly as possible, however since Mario is their mascot, it is expected he gets the most exposure. To that End Mario is really boring to look at, in my opinion. I do have to say that Daisy is the most neglected character, in the Marioverse. I do not agree with this "Daisy-Peach" fiasco that they pulled in Smash Bros, however there is nothing I can do about that, in short of not buying the game, then missing out on playing it. I am not going to let this bother me, so I will most likely pick up the next iteration of SSB (if it does get made).
Come to think of it, since this is UbiSoft game, perhaps Nintendo charges differently for different characters? So the ones shown is the cheapest? I don't know.

what? beyond good and evil? splinter cell series?far cry series?rayman series? and manny more, your saying you never enjoyed any ubisoft game ever? lol they made alot of great games, they arent just assasins creed makers.
