Going online wouldn't be recommended anyway, with Nintendo likely to push at update pretty quick.
You don't need the latest FW to play online, only to access eShop and get updates, which they can all be done with 5.X.X and WUP Installer and NNU Patcher.

idk if it's just me, but I'm having huuge issues with trying to get loadiine working with literally any game (or any loadiine version), I keep getting the nintendo error code 160-2203 "problem with system memory". If it helps the other codes I'm getting are (2)WUP-101(04) (3)FAH100371659 and (4)HAA3-0210-3374

I have a european release "pro" console if that makes any difference...

EDIT: I tried using the smash brothers game to boot and instead of giving me an error message it just freezes on the smash screen, and for some reason when I loaded the mii maker method it didn't show an error message, just froze, also when I turned on the TV to see if the main screen had anything on it, the tv didn't think anything was connected to it...

About going online with Loadiine?

Nope, it's not possible.
Reason is that when you play a game through Loadiine, it uses the server of whatever app/game you use to launch it.
For example, if you use Mii Maker mode, you're using Mii maker's servers, Smash = Smash servers, etc.
That's why you get connection errors, because you can't connect to the server of the game you are playing due to the method of launch.

Hey I was wondering if anyone can help, or explain why for some games like twilight princess HD, or super mario 3d world the load times are so long. Is there anyway around this, or is this just normal?

Format your SD card to FAT32 64K CLuster size and it should help with some games

Noob question : I want to try Super Smash Bros mode.
I choose it in loadiine with the original disc inserted in the Wii U.
I "launch" the game and... it quits to Mii Maker.
What am I supposed to do after this ?

Go to your dash then start the Physical Copy of Smash. After it does it's "Boot Intro" thing, your game'll start.
edit: all the ninjas =D

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
