The very last level of the game, on story made, has been locking up my system consistently. After a seemingly random amount of time, at different points in the level, the game freezes, and a loud buzzing noise is all I get. I've had this happen on a couple other games completely randomly, but never consistently like now. I completely updated my wii a few months-ish ago (4.2), but I have no idea if everything is still current 'cause I don't know how to check to see what is currently installed. Any help is appreciated.
forgot to mention this happens both off of a hard drive and off of the actual retail disk.
found the solution in an older thread here and via google, so I'm just going to go ahead and paste it in here and then request it be locked.
Apparently it's due to crappy programming and has nothing to do with my wii being softmodded.

SOLUTION
Adjusting the sound settings of the Wii system to "Stereo" or "Mono" from "Surround" has been known to resolve the issue. To adjust the Wii system's sound settings:
- From the Wii Channel menu, point to the "Wii Options" button on the screen and press the A Button.
- At the next screen, point to Wii Settings and press the A Button.
- In the Wii Settings menu, point to Sound and press the A Button.
- Select "Stereo" or "Mono", then point to Confirm and and press the A Button.
- Point to Back and and press the A Button to return to the Wii Options menu, and again to return to the Wii Channel menu.
- Re-start Lego Pirates and see if it fixed the problem.
