Hi,


I was testing the spanish file for a time (I've was formating a disk, installing a game, and forcing some errors, to see all text), and i make some minor changes (thanks to Penn, too)
This could be the final version of Spanish translation

Some texts was impossible of try (Couldnotinitializenetwork, by example), because When I disable my net, a black screen and crash, with the 361 version (Beta, of course).

Could you update it at the source?. I'm sorry for any inconvenience.

And, again, i test most of the phrases... and use araxis merge to check long lines compared to default english language file, and lines like:
"Timeleft = Tiempo restante:" and many others in 4:3 screens doesn't show properly. Most of them in a widescreen fit right, but not every person use a widescreen. So i think limitation in long lines, the width of the lines in english, needs to be respected. Long lines like that, more longer than english limit in width, just fall out the white box with the message (like the timer count down when installing a new game, because "timeleft" phrase too long)
Those lines (long lines) can be abbreviated an displayed like:
"Timeleft = T. restante:"
...and is totally understandable in spanish (seeing the time counter displayed there).

And, lines like:
"Display = Pantalla"
in a literally translation are fine, but, that line is for the setting where usb loader let you choose about showing the "game id" or the "region" or "both" beside (up and down) the game covers... and have nothing to do with the screen itself.
That i was mean about translation IN CONTEXT and not literally.

J'ai failli le mentionner dans le post précédent, je l'attendais celle-là... Je ne veux certainement pas avoir mon nom dans vos soi-disant "crédits", perso je m'en tape et yen a déjà 3, que je trouve déjà ridicule... faut arrêter les conneries. (encore une fois, typique français...)

Excusez-moi si j'ai été mal compris, je voulais dire que c'est mieux (il me semble) si on poste nos propositions, on y réfléchit, puis on actualise.
Si chacun poste une nouvelle version à chaque fois, on va pas s'en sortir.

Evidemment que je suis pour une traduction relue par de nombreux francophones, et bien aboutie.
Faire ça de manière archaïque ne nous servira à rien.

Et oui j'ai lu rapidement ton fichier et j'y ai trouvé des incohérences, par exemple utiliser une expression ici et pas là alors que c'est sensiblement la même phrase. C'est pour ça que poster une version modifiée sans avoir proposé aux autres avant, je trouve que ça ne mène rien : on arrivera pas à une traduction "finalisée" comme tu dis de cette manière.

Enfin faut penser à tester la traduction les gars parce que certes y'a des phrases pas jolies jolies mais elles ont été parfois raccourcies parce qu'elles ne rentraient pas dans l'espace alloué.

Donc la proposition d'aller sur un autre forum est une bonne idée
