Gaming joy2key...

I downloaded the software from micrsoft to make xbox 360 wired controller work with joy 2 key but when i try to program a button it doesnt do anything for example i push the (X) button and it doesnt see that im pushing the (X) button... so what am i doing wrong and yes the controllers plugged in... also when i push o key on the pc it works fine just my xbox controller gives me trouble plz help!

thanks but thats what im using i wanted to try joy2key casue on xpadder in mw2 the analog sticks are too... all over the place i messed with the senstvity but still no luck =(
