Homebrew Is it true that I dont have to downgrade from 11.0.0-33U to play 3DS files?

Is it true that I dont have to downgrade from 11.0.0-33U to play 3DS files? I see some people are saying 11.2 can even be done now without downgrading. If it is true is there a guide for it? I saw a video where they did it with a micro sd card thru unscrewing the back. If it is necessary I can do it but of course a regular sd would be easier.

The only guide you should follow is http://3ds.guide, and system firmwares 11.3 and under can get custom firmware without a hardmod. To play the 3DS games, either use freeShop/CIAngel, or find the games in .cia format and install them with FBI (which 3ds.guide will set you up with).

if you have a9lh or b9s installed and working you can convert the .3ds file to a .cia and install it directly to your home menu .... or get it from freeshop if its on there
