I got a really cheap japanese wii (7$) and found some super cheap japanese gamecube games. If i mod the wii with Priiloader to be region free, will the gamecube games just change to english?

What about if you wanted to change the language to Latin?
...
A strange way of saying, who says the game contains English language?
Some games might let you choose the language, some changes might have English but not let you select it.
It's different for every game.

But as a general rule, Japanese games are Japanese only.

It really depends on the game. Most GC games (especially first party Nintendo titles) don't afaik.

From the top of my head ones that do let you change to English:
- Melee (possibly Kirby Air Ride as well)
- Sonic Heroes, and most likely every 3D Sonic game on GC
- Star Fox Assault

All of those will probably default to Japanese though, so you'll need to go into the game settings to change it to English.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.
