Hacking If I buy a D2C drive in Europe (or any other region), will I be able to install and use it normally on my American Wii?

I suppose the answer is "yes", because of the architecture of the drive (and considering that the region differences are set by the System Menu, not via hardware). I just want to be 100% sure about that (by this, I mean things like power supply differences [if there are any], among other points).

BTW, I know about the D4 drives; my console is a LU54 one, I won't have any problems with that. Thanks in advance for any possible response, .
