Won't fix Idea For New Subforum

In order to reduce the number of flame wars in all the other subforums, how about we create a subforum specifically for flame wars. Then we can have all the flame wars contained in the subforum and all the civilized discussions everywhere else.

Flamewars are inevitable in any forum, period. Where people discuss, people argue, and where people argue, people fling their shit at one another. You want to contain a fire with wooden posts; I somehow doubt that's going to pan out.

Flamewars are not something we want to encourage in any way. I am quite disappointed to see old time regulars suggesting if you want to flame people go to the eof, that is not what the eof is for. There is a difference between a bit of gentle ribbing and poking jokingly at each other in the eof where nobody actually genuinely gets mad or intends to upset anyone and a flamewar.
