Hacking I have a 3.55 OFW PS3, can I jailbreak to 4.40 CFW right away?

I'm jailbreaking my 3.55 OFW PS3, but do I need to jailbreak to a 3.55 CFW before upgrading to Rogero 4.40 CFW? Or can I go straight for it?

Another, somewhat unrelated question, but if I have a USB SD card adapter, will the PS3 read the SD card through that? - Yes, it will.

I highly suggest QA flagging your console before updating further than 3.55. It will make downgrading easier later on in case you ever need to.

I downloaded toggle_qa.pkg, installed it and then tried the button combination under Network Settings, but only the Debug Settings show up, not Edy Viewer or Install Package Files. I'm on Rebug 3.55.4 REX. Is this normal?
