I don't think the PSVita has nearly enough juice to pull those off, which is why we're seeing HD ports instead.

I mean for me it sounds like a common sense move on Sony's part. The PS2 was the best selling console of ALL TIME. Why not make a handheld that can handle ports of those games?
I know, which is why it handles ports of'em just fine, and with improved visuals too.

Gaikai will allow PS2 games to be played on the Vita but.. the list of PS2 games on the PS Store is really small.
