I had some disc that just booted up and wiped the passwords for me.

But, I have to thank my trusty Ubuntu 8.04 disc for helping me with that.

login screen>click empty area>press ctr+alt+delt>shows different login box with "administrator" as username and you most likely don't need a password, so >press ok or login
