Guys I should of mentioned:

I recently asked if its working for New Nintendo 3DS. Mines not the Japanese version. Mines the European Ambassador version they released.

Just wondering if anyone body has had any success yet with a New Nintendo 3DS (Non Japanese)

Yes it's working for me too.but I'm using an old galaxy S for tethering. That's why I want to use the netbook and keep my sim inside my actual smartphone.

Nope. And I've disabled the ethernet one. The wifi module is a bluetooth and wifi combo by broadcom. I'm using win 8.1 32 bit and the netbook is an Asus with an intel atom cedar trail processor.

Yes and the result is okay. The first string with only two 1(or whatever I don't remember now) but it was okay. Let me retry.

Then just start nzone as described in guide and left 3DS for several hours

Set Open system/Shared key wireless security mode in WEB GUI

I'm not sure how to do that. I have attwifi virtual router setup with this cmd command:
netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=attwifi

It's a hosted network via a wireless USB adapter, and I have everything set up. My 3DS is even able to connect to it just fine, and I'm able to use the MACcycler 2.0 beta, but my 3DS never actually receives streetpasses.

LetGoMyLegHo Open Before anything else link in the first thread and read it carefully, there will be the method. Maccycler won't work for 3DS with firmware 9.3+, virtual router and any other stuff is not needed.

duke_srg So I'm trying to use the VM method, and I'm having the same problem Deathslayer was having back in page 227. In which the session would open and then close. I've followed through what you instructed him to do (alt+f1, login using root/notforall, ifconfig, ls /proc/bus/usb, lshw | grep USB, and then also using lsusb to check if it's connected or not.)

It just doesn't work I think is an hardware issue. As soon I start nzone.exe the wifi module get disabled and then stop. Nothing happens for minutes, no secondary virtual lan is created, nothing. Even in the command prompt as soon as I press Enter the string doesn't "move" to the next empty one and I cannot type anything.

It creates a virtual wifi/lan named testtest but when I enter the last string it write about an Atheros module that I've removed and uninstalled time ago
I've also removed the registry entry of it -__-"
EDIT: maybe I'm wrong since it list also the curren broadcom one

Atheros showed as its driver was installed, there is no actual device. the broadcom one should work fine as soon as it worked with maccheck.cmd
