how do you format an entire computer with windows 7 to install xp?

may as well go put windows for workgroups 3.11 on it

Pop in Windows XP CD.
Boot CD.
Wait.
Format HDD.
Install Windows XP.
Wait.
Type in information such as name and stuff.
Wait more.
Type more stuff.
Wait more.
Done.

Find drivers that WORK with XP before going to XP.
